Deix is able to provide tools and design methods that are state-of-the-art in applied research by exploiting years of knowledge and high-performance libraries that , among others, algorithms for the solution of global optimization, multi-objective optimization, robust optimization and mixed variable optimization problems.
Data Fusion
In the context of complex learning, control, decision and optimization problems, knowledge extraction from heterogeneous data and sensors plays a key role. In this area, Deix provides sensor & data fusion solutions that combine mathematical models with statistical inference techniques, learning from data and artificial intelligence. This type of approach finds a natural application in the implementation of Digital Twins of processes, assets and products.
Machine Learning
Deix follows an integrated approach of data-driven decision making by appropriately integrating Machine Learning and artificial intelligence techniques with optimization and control algorithms. ML models exploit available data (which may be historical series, texts, images, or videos) to solve problems such as prediction, pattern recognition, or classification, and serve as the basis to the decision-making process, which is guided by optimization algorithm able to deal with probabilistic outputs.
