Not a simple presentation; a moment of profound reflection on the country's technological future.

With the event organized last week at "La Sapienza" University of Rome, we introduced the Mathematical Intelligence Manifesto to the academic and industrial communities, sparking a dialogue that was lively, engaged and, above all, necessary. The feedback confirmed its importance.

Three key themes emerged from the debate:

- **An Urgent Priority**

  The Rector, Antonella Polimeni, stated it clearly: today, AI is not merely a technological issue. It is a cultural, educational, and systemic challenge that concerns how we shape both skills and vision.

- **The Responsibility of Institutions**

  Nobel Laureate Giorgio Parisi made a definitive point: without a strong and coordinated commitment from national and European institutions—ranging from basic research to the development of sovereign technologies—we risk remaining spectators of innovation rather than protagonists.

- **Human Centrality**

  A shared conviction emerged during the panel discussion: AI must amplify human capabilities, not replace them. This requires algorithms that are understandable, governable, and built on robust mathematical foundations.

Now begins an equally crucial phase: updating and revising the Manifesto by integrating the ideas, critiques, and contributions that emerged from the discussion.

The journey toward a more rigorous, mindful, and human-centered Artificial Intelligence has only just begun.

The "Le Booster" program with the CCI France Italie – Chamber of Commerce came to an end last Thursday, and we’re excited to share the results!

We've just wrapped up an intense week at the **Digital Innovation Forum** in Cernobbio — a true showcase of digital transformation set against a breathtaking backdrop!

*Catania* – For the third consecutive year, Deix took part in the 16th National Forum of the Borsa della Ricerca (Research Exchange), the leading event for innovation and technology transfer organized by Fondazione Emblema. Once again, the evocative setting of the Monastery of the Benedictines provided the backdrop for intense days of networking, dialogue, and new opportunities.

The Forum continues to be a strategic event for our team, offering the chance to engage with numerous companies from across Italy. During the meetings, we discussed the most complex operational and strategic challenges that businesses face today, illustrating how our Mathematical Intelligence-based approach can transform problems into concrete, tailored, and high-value solutions.

**Spotlight on Project INTEGRA**

One of the most significant moments of our participation was the plenary session pitch delivered by Francesca Schweiger, Mathematical Model Developer at Deix. Francesca presented INTEGRA, our project funded under the FAIR (Future AI Research) program, which is setting a new standard for health protection and ergonomic assessment in the workplace.

INTEGRA leverages advanced Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence algorithms to analyze workers’ movements in real time. The technology can automatically calculate risk indicators based on established scientific protocols, providing an objective and precise tool for preventing injuries and improving employee well-being.

The presentation generated great interest, highlighting the tangible impact of applied research when it serves real and pressing needs such as workplace safety.

A day dedicated to strengthening the synergy between innovation and concrete application, where Deix played a leading role.

**Introducing INTEGRA Innovation for Ergonomic Analysis**

During the event, our team composed of Francesca Schweiger, Riccardo Cataldi, and Jacopo Corno presented INTEGRA, a cutting-edge project that aims to innovate the assessment of ergonomic risks in the workplace.

INTEGRA's objective is simple but ambitious: to improve workers' health and safety through artificial intelligence. Our technology analyzes videos and images to automatically evaluate operators' postures and movements, combining AI algorithms with physical models of the human body. The system can automatically calculate risk indicators based on scientifically validated scales such as REBA, RULA, and OWAS, offering an objective and powerful tool for the prevention of injuries and occupational diseases.

**Beyond Workplace Safety: A Look at the Future**

The potential of such an advanced system doesn't stop at the industrial context. The same technologies that we apply today for ergonomic analysis can be extended to other sectors, such as healthcare, for rehabilitation monitoring, and sports, for performance analysis and injury prevention for athletes.
