Integrated Management System Policy

Purpose

Deix promotes production/service delivery policies that consider the needs for economic development and value creation, typical of the business activities attributable to it, together with the needs for respect and safeguarding of the environment, social responsibility, and information and data security. It also commits to complying with current legislation, encouraging the dissemination of a culture of adherence to legal principles.

Deix's commitment translates into developing and implementing an Integrated Management System through the active involvement of the entire company structure so that it participates, according to its duties, in achieving the identified management system objectives and in promoting:

• Quality of supplies and contracts;
• Continuous improvement;
• Respect and enhancement of people;
• Innovation and change;
• Transparent communication and worker participation.

The strategies that underpin the development of the company business are based on the company's values and mission, which also influence the guidelines for employee and collaborator behavior, in order to achieve the best possible results through the sharing of problems and opportunities.

To implement its Policy, Deix commits to:

• Applying the logic of risk analysis to all operational and decision-making processes.
• Promoting and disseminating the culture of continuous improvement focused on product/service conformity/quality, customer satisfaction, and the protection of the environment, health and safety, information security, and innovation. Involving, motivating, raising awareness, and enhancing people, through professional training, operational instruction, and qualification on specific critical processes.
• Ensuring active compliance with the legal regulations applicable to the scope of the company management system, with the objective of continuously improving the working conditions of personnel, including suppliers and interested parties, in terms of confidentiality, integrity, availability, and security of information.
• Ensuring the security of the services provided, in terms of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and data, by relying on policies for the correct and secure use of IT technologies and the systematic evaluation of the risks associated with them, adopting a series of measures, controls, and procedures for the correct processing of personal data.
• Sustainable use of resources, safeguarding of biodiversity and ecosystems, adaptation to climate change, and the mitigation of related impacts, by making available prepared, efficient human resources supported by adequate infrastructural resources.

Deix annually defines its improvement objectives during the Management Review, based on which it evaluates the effectiveness and usefulness of its Management System, and provides adequate means and resources to achieve them.

To comply with this Policy and achieve the defined objectives, Deix considers it fundamental to promote teamwork and encourage the constructive involvement of all people who are part of its organization.
